In a world teeming with ITSM Consultants, it can be difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff, the visionaries from the worker bees, the Simons from the Garfunkels. Luckily, we keep a pulse on such matters, and are thrilled to share with you our list of the top 5 most insightful, experienced, creative ITSM Experts (instructors and consultants) to watch this year.

AMANDA FAIRBROTHER, ITIL Expert, CSM
Senior ITSM Consultant, Beyond20

New York native Amanda Fairbrother can do it all: She consults, she teaches, she strategizes, she delivers great zingers. I could go on and on. Amanda has years of experience working with government agencies and contractors, giving her a unique perspective into both the public and private sectors. She's no-nonsense (okay, some nonsense) and really knows her way around ITIL Processes. If you're looking for solid process design or Service Catalog development, Amanda's your gal.

ANDY RIVERS, ITIL Expert, CSM, SAFe, CISSP
Senior Advisor, Beyond20

Andy, among other things, spearheads our ITSM Consulting and Cyber Security practices. He’s the former ACIO of the University of Tennessee system, where he spent years mastering all things Cyber Security. He’s led teams to tremendous achievements over the years, yet remains the humblest (that’s a word, yes?) person you’ll ever meet. His technical acumen and leadership skills have taken our ITSM Consulting and Security practices to new heights. He’s patient, knowledgeable, Southern (which people seem to like), and a bit of a practical joker (which people do not). He does it all and makes it look easy, which is deeply annoying.

BRIAN FLORA, ITIL Expert, CSM, ISO 20K Auditor

Principal Consultant, Beyond20

Fun fact: Brian was one of the first ITIL Experts ever. As a co-founder of Beyond20, he's been one to watch in the ITSM industry for over a decade. Brian brings wisdom, critical thinking, and an endless well of corny jokes (some would say dad jokes) to each of his consulting engagements, allowing for creative solutions to organizational problems large and small. His rare ability to predict coming trends in the industry keeps our customers consistently ahead of the game. He also happens to make a mean Old Fashioned.

DAVID CROUCH, ITIL Expert, PMP, CSM, MBA
Senior ITSM Advisor, Beyond20

You won't find a better-dressed ITSM Consultant than David Crouch (his collection of ascots and cravats is dizzying). You also probably won't find a more thoughtful one. David has more degrees than you can shake a stick at (if you shake sticks at things), and has spent many years working in Non-Profit Leaders and Higher Education (at Johns Hopkins, no less); Suffice it to say the man is a thinker. In addition to being an ITIL Expert, David is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), so not only can he build process and strategy - he can manage them as they're implemented, too. David hails from Baltimore, speaks Russian, and is the world's nicest spy. Oh no. I've said too much...

ERIKA FLORA, ITIL Expert, PMP, PgMP, CSM, CSPO
Principal Consultant, Beyond20

Amanda Fairbrother

Erika Flora is Beyond20's spirit animal and corporate cheerleader. She comes at projects large and small with tenacity, creativity, and an unbelievable work ethic. She's been an ITIL Expert almost as long as Brian and has been implementing ITIL processes, helping teams design and execute strategic plans, and conducting deep-dive assessments for more than a decade. Erika is also a PMP, PgMP (Program Management Professional), and Certified Scrum Professional (more than 30 IT, leadership, and Project Management certs in all), meaning she can manage any kind of project you throw her way. She's a published author, holds a Masters in Microbiology, and can speak a little Spanish Pig Latin.
